Yorkshire Day Recipe Competition
Enter Timothy Taylor's Yorkshire recipe competition and win one nights accommodation, dinner for two and a bottle of wine at one of our managed houses.
To celebrate Yorkshire Day on the 1st August Timothy Taylor’s Managed Houses are launching a recipe competition to rediscover traditional Yorkshire dishes. To enter simply send us your recipe, a brief story of its origin and photo of your dish.
Recipes entered can be new and inspired by local produce, or may be old family favourites, scribbled down and passed on through the generations. The winning dish can be savoury or sweet, and will be judged on how it encapsulates Yorkshire, and on how well it complements the flavours Timothy Taylor’s award winning cask ale, Landlord.
The successful recipe will be available for the public to try when it is included on specials boards at some Timothy Taylors Managed Houses and the winner will also be treated to one night’s accommodation, a meal for two and a bottle of wine at one of Timothy Taylor’s managed pubs.
The competition will be judged by Adrian Sykes, Timothy Taylor’s Food Development Manager who says “This competition recognises that customers who visit and eat at our pubs have a renewed interest in local dishes that are of good quality and include locally sourced produce”.
The competition is now open for entry and the closing date is 5.00pm Monday 29th of August.
Please send us your recipe, a brief story of its origin and photo of your dish, either by:
